Every design starts outside my bush studio door — the red-tailed cockatoos in the black wattle, the wet season greens, the colours that only really make sense up here in the tropical Top End of Australia.
I draw the subjects, work them up into repeating designs, have the fabric printed in Sydney, then cut and sew each piece myself in the studio. You'll find my work (and about fifty other Top End makers) at The Local in Parap — and now, right here.
